On Columbus Dr. moving North from Balbo to Monroe St. Join in on an evening of entertainment in one of the most important cultural districts in the nation!

 

Day of the Dead Sugar Skull Workshops – Throughout October

Kids learn about the history of the Day of the Dead and make sugar skulls. Located at both Eugene Field Park and Mayfair Park. This event is for ages 6 and up. Each sugar skull costs $20.

 

Supper with the Snakes – Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Kids age 2-10 trick or treat through a museum full of live snakes and explore facts on the way. Join in games and craft projects, then hang out at the Halloween party. Registration required.

 

Lincoln Park Zoo’s Spooky Zoo Spectacular – October 27 from 10am-1pm

This one is free with toddler activities, trick-or-treating, and arts and crafts — plus the Haunted House at the Kovler Sea Pool and Fall Fest rides.

 

The Chicago Park District’s FREE Haunted House at Kennicott Park – October 27th from 6-9pm

Located at 4434 S Lake Park Ave, it is family fun at it’s finest! Play games, visit a haunted house, enjoy candy and giveaways.

 

Trick or Treat on Southport – October 29, 2018 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm
The neighborhood’s favorite fall tradition features family-friendly activities, local food vendors, craft beer, music, and trick-or-treating at local businesses. Free and open to the public.
